Post Industrial Piercing Problems

I have had my industrial piercing for 3 1/2 months. It was pierced with a bar but i cannot wear it because when i do, the hole closer to me head (which still hurts) gets a huge bump on the inside rim & starts hurting super bad. And the other piercing, on the outside of my ear will start hurting, which it currently doesn't hurt anymore. I wear horse shoe rings in it to prevent it from doing that. I want to wear the bar but i have that problem. What can i do to stop it?

It's called keloid scarring you need a longer bar and if it still does it you will have to stick to the rings
