This photo depicts the piercings in my left ear. I currently wear 5/8" in my ear lobes. They were at 1 inch for a period of time until an incident involving a pair of plugs which I was allergic to occured. The tragus to conch industrial was done at a 16 gauge back in 2000. I have since stretched it to a 10 gauge. My outer conch piercing was done originally with a 0 gauge dermal punch. It had an unfortuante collapse issue, so I had to remove the jewelry and allow it heal. Once it finally healed my ear looked ridiculous. My only option was to stretch the piercing to reshape my ear structure. It is now at 1/2" and that is where it will stay.

I did this corset with 12 gauge custom jewelry. She left it in for a total of 13 months before she grew bored with it. She tells me that she misses it, but is happy to be wearing a normal corset once again.

Just the basics. Straight forward, easy to heal. All of your friends have one, why don't you? These simple yet beautiful piercings are what keep me busy most days.

If I had to get pierced every day for the rest of my life it would have to be an eyebrow. Probably the least painful piercing you can get done. I have seen some unfortunate souls bruise somewhat extensively(myself included), but it's kind of fun to make up a cover story to explain the black eye.

Surface piercings located on the face and neck are easily some of the most eye catching. The skin in these areas is a little more delicate so they require extra care while healing. If you plan on getting any of these done look for a piercer with plenty experience as they can easily reject if done poorly and a big rejection scar on your face is not that attractive.

Ear spirals(or coils) are an extremely eye catching alternative to a traditional industrial. Although they look amazing, this piercing can be a huge pain in the arse.

Most of the costumers that come into my shop think that there is only one type of industrial. As most of you probably know that is tey couldn't be more wrong. This gallery demonstrates several different stlyes of what I consider "simple industrials".

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy oral as much as the next guy, but when it comes to oral piercings I've had nothing but problems. Gum erosion, enamal wear, and tooth chipping just to name a few. Oral piercings are the most problematic in my opinion. Not to say I don't like to do them. Whats not to like, bad breath, chapped lips, cold sores, rotting teeth. Wooo Hooo!

Surface piercings can be done almost anywhere. Other than the nape the torso seems to be the next best candidate for surface work. The sternum or "cleavage" piercing is always a top choice, other locations include clavicle, abdomen, and lower back. Not all torso piercing are a good idea, they might look cool but when it comes to everyday life some are just plain impractical.

Napes are the best location for surface work. Not only do they heal well but they are very resilient allowing them to take some abuse. In this gallery you will find a random assortment of some basic nape piercings. Enjoy!

Navels, navels, navels. What else can I say, It's like the new earlobe. Everybody gets it pierced eventually. So why not spice it up a bit.

You gotta love nose piercings. When else do you get the opportunity to dig around in someones nose. I absolutely love to pierce noses, I remember only one time that it wasn't a joyous occasion. I just pushed a 10 gauge needle through my friends septum and he sneezed right in my face. NASTY!

Orbital piercings can be placed in a variety of locations; eyebrow, nostril, navel, and labia just to name a few but they are traditionally located in the cartilage of the ear. This particular piercing is a great alternative to an industrial, providing a more artistic appearance than a straight barbell.

Scarification requires a differnet degree of dexterity than piercing and for a spectator a strong stomach. I have only dabbled with scarification a handful of times but I have always been very pleased with the final product.

This is my newest tattoo. Scotty of Olde Town Tattoo did this one for me. I plan on doing a few more cartoon villians to keep skeletor company.

This session was totally impromptu. I was getting bored on a Sunday and asked our receptionist if she felt like a play session. This is what we came up with.

For those of you who are growing bored seeing the same tired old ear, nose, and lip piercings here is a little treat. Custom jewelry made by me was used for all of the piercings in this gallery.

I'll be the first to tell you that Hand and wrist piercings are a bad idea for most people. They will severely limit your ability to function like a normal human being. Simple things that most of us take for granted become time consuming tasks. For example, reaching into your pocket could cause a snag which will at the very least hurt and slow healing or a more extreme side effect would be a complete tear out. Always consider location and functionality before diving into a new piercing.
